MAINE SHERIFFS AND DEPUTIES gather at the flag-raising ceremony held
February 17 at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse in Lubec to honor the
sacrifices of the country’s military and to commemorate the nation’s
250th birthday. The same flag will travel to every state and U.S.
cemetery overseas before its final stop in Washington, D.C., on July 4.
